The minimum age requirement is 14, and there is no maximum age limit.

The maximum weight allowed is 18–20 stone.

• Hiking boots or trainers – no heels, open toe sandals or pumps.
• Wear loose comfortable clothing, tuck in shirts etc., and remove any bulky jackets. Pockets must be empty or zipped closed and any sharp or bulky items removed.
• Remove all jewellery and tie your hair back.

• A fully completed and signed medical form.
• If you use an inhaler or require any medication please bring it with you.
• Abseilers are requested not to take alcohol or any drugs which might impair their ability to abseil prior to the event. The safety officer may refuse to allow any individual to abseil and is not required to give reasons.

No prior experience is required. All participants receive a safety briefing before abseilling.

Spectators are welcome to watch. The ideal location is across the road outside the Crown Bar, remember to wear something your family & friends can recognise!
