Peter Murray
To date I have over 25 years’ experience working within at Middle, Senior, Board and Inspectorate level within many different Educational settings with various key stakeholders from a local and global perspective particularly from Employability and Careers. I have a vast experience of implementing and strategically planning of whole school Curriculums and Pastoral Care programmes in collaboration with many other Post Primary schools in the greater Belfast area, ensuring we meet the needs of all learners. I have an array of experiences working closely with DENI and DEL in securing funding to assist various programmes / community groups to develop the future workforce of West Belfast. Furthermore, I have provided sound governance and formulated strategic direction to Boards including: Workforce Training and Springvale Learning. Throughout these experiences, I have held many roles and responsibilities such as Chairman, Company Secretary, Designated Board member for Child Protection, Care and Welfare. Throughout these experiences, I ensured legal, ethical and financial integrity and maintained accountability whilst overseeing programme planning and evaluation in line with Department of Economies and Communities guidelines.
