Let’s Shine the Light This Christmas in Memory of a Loved One
This Christmas, PIPS Charity warmly invites you to join us for our annual Tree of Light Ceremony — a beautiful afternoon of remembrance, hope, and community.
As the year draws to a close, we gather to honour the memory of loved ones who are no longer with us. This heartfelt event offers a space to reflect, connect, and find comfort in the company of others who understand the journey of loss.

About the Tree of Light
During the ceremony, guests are invited to take part in a series of simple, meaningful acts of
remembrance:
• Collect your own personal bauble to place on the Tree of Light in memory of a loved one.
• Add a feather to your bauble — a symbol of peace, hope, and connection.
• Write a personalised message to your loved one, place it inside your bauble, and hang it on our tree as a tribute.
Each bauble becomes part of a collective display of love and remembrance, lighting up the night in unity and compassion.
A Night of Reflection and Togetherness
The Tree of Light Ceremony is more than an event — it’s a chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate the lives of those we hold close in our hearts. Whether you come to write a message, light a candle, or simply stand among others who understand, you’ll find warmth, care, and community waiting for you.
This is a free event, and all donations are welcome. Every contribution helps PIPS Charity continue providing vital suicide prevention and mental health support services across Northern Ireland.

The feather placed inside each bauble symbolises peace, hope, and connection — a gentle reminder that our loved ones remain part of us, even when they’re no longer here.
We’ll provide baubles at the event, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you’d like. Each bauble can include a message or personal token in memory of your loved one.
